Report of the first meeting of the new IAGA Executive Committee (2003-2007), Friday 11 July 2003.
A Task Group was established at the Assembly to consider ideas for IAGA to put forward to the IUGG IGY+50 Committee. The Task Group produced a proposal based around the concept of an "electronic Geophysical Year, or e-GY". The report of the first meeting of the new IAGA Executive Committee includes the names of those asked to carry on the work started in Sapporo.
